An oak tree symbolises strength, wisdom and resilience. It stands tall within an environment living up to hundreds, even thousands of years. At our day care, we think of a young oak, and how its growth underground affects how they stand today.

To Nurture

Here at Oak Tree Learning, we focus on fostering an environment through trust and safety. Our educators recognise the importance of being "Seen," and take the time to get to know every child personally. Each child has different personalities, interests and paces which makes them unique.

To Develop

This fundamental stage helps the child to navigate different obstacles they may face. This can mean supporting them with cognitive skills, like problem-solving and language, and social skills to manage conflict. Our positive reinforcement helps the child feel confident in being faced with new challenges.

To Create

Creation is where learning becomes visible. It's what showcases what we're truly capable of, and skilled in. We provide hands-on support so the child can make progress in other fields. This includes extracurricular activities like yoga and sports, to music, dance, drama and movement.

During the start of a child's life, we focus on providing consistent love and care. A calm, peaceful and personalised space is essential for their wellbeing. Our experienced carers are dedicated to monitoring and supporting the baby in their care. We always work to ensure a loving bond with the child.

Explore Nursery Program

This is the age where curiosity starts to fully unravel. Here at Oak Tree Learning Centre, we lean into their need for exploration through a playful, yet educational program. This involves introducing the basics of reading and other cognitive abilities through activities like reading books playfully.

Explore Toddler Program

During this stage, our program is focused on preparing the child for kinder garden centre. Our school readiness preparation involves the basics of the National Years Learning Framework. This includes foundational concepts like literacy, critical thinking skills, numeracy and peer collaboration.

Explore Preschool Program

At our early learning centre, we offer a wide range of extra curricular activities for children to expand their skill-sets. Our yoga program engages the children to create calmness, while also building self-confidence. A specialist music teacher also visits the daycare to offer fun dancing and singing lessons. For the active little ones, an instructor-led sports program covers many activities, from soccer all the way to footy.

Our Holistic-based Curriculum

At Oak Tree, we meet the national quality standard (NQS.) Our program is deeply embedded in, and aligns with the Australian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). It's a nationally recognised practice for child care. The framework hones in on meeting the child's individual needs.

Nutritious Meals

We provide fresh, nutritionally balanced meals designed to support your child’s growth and energy throughout the day. Our rotating menu follows NSW dietary guidelines and caters to different dietary needs, ensuring every child is well-nourished and ready to learn.

Meals

Promotes Health & Wellness

To promote wellness and safety for the children in our care, we maintain strict health practices at our child care. We also offer nutritionally balanced meals at a four week rotation to meet NSW dietary requirements. Along with this, we have set rest and sleep schedules for children, depending on their age and sleep demands.
