Three values. Every decision. Every single day.

At Oak Tree, our values aren't words on a wall. They are the living, breathing foundation of everything we do β€” how we care for children, how we work with families, and how we show up for each other every day

Love

A deep appreciation for every child and family

Safety

An environment where everyone feels safe & confident

Fun

Joy is the engine of lifelong learning
❀️ Value One - Love

What Love looks like at Oak Tree

At Oak Tree, Love is at the heart of everything we do. It’s not just a warm feeling; it’s an active commitment. We show up fully for every child, every family, and every colleague, every single day.

Love at Oak Tree means that our educators truly know your child β€” their personality, passions, quirks, and milestones. It’s about families feeling genuinely welcomed each morning, not just processed through a system.

How Love shows up in action - Every day

πŸ‘Ά Every child is known

Our small, boutique size is a choice we’ve made intentionally. It allows every child to receive genuine personal attention from educators who truly know them as individuals.

πŸ‘ͺ Families are partners

Family’s input truly influences what we do. Parents are partners in shaping our policies and programs. Love means your voice always matters here.

πŸ“§ Daily photos & updates

Every afternoon, we email you a summary and photos of your child's day. Because Love means keeping families connected and never leaving a parent wondering.

πŸŽ‰ Every milestone celebrated

From a first step to a first word, we celebrate it all. No milestone is too small to be recognised in the unique journey each child takes.

We believe in helping your child be the best they can be in a loving environment, with plenty of positive reinforcement and encouragement. Our educators understand the importance of your child's early years in forming the foundation for great self-esteem and confidence.

πŸ›‘οΈ Value Two - Safety

What Safety looks like at Oak Tree

Safety at Oak Tree means much more than locked gates and sign-in sheets. It means children feel emotionally safe to take risks, make mistakes and ask for help. It means families feel completely confident in the care their child receives every day.

We provide an environment where children, families and our colleagues feel safe, connected and confident enough to be themselves. Safety is physical, emotional and relational β€” it means every person at Oak Tree can show up as they truly are.

How Safety shows up in action - Every day

πŸ” Physical security

Every arrival and departure is signed and timed. Only authorised people can collect your child. No exceptions. Your child's physical safety is non-negotiable.

πŸ’š Emotional safety

Children are encouraged to explore, make mistakes and ask for help without fear of judgment. A psychologically safe environment builds confidence and allows them to grow freely.

πŸ₯— Freshly cooked meals every day

Five nutritious meals, freshly prepared on-site daily. Safe food handling, allergy protocols and NSW Health compliance, safety is a priority in every bite.

😴 Safe sleep practices

We follow SIDS & Kids' safe sleeping recommendations for all children. Rest time is calm, individual and handled with the utmost care by our trained educators.

We aim to provide an environment where children feel confident to explore new ideas and make their own decisions, but also feel safe enough to be able to ask for help when a little assistance is needed.

πŸ˜„ Value Three - Fun

What Fun looks like at Oak Tree

Fun is baked into everything at Oak Tree. From getting messy with craft to chasing each other through outdoor play. When children are having fun, they are learning at their best.

Fun is not a distraction from education at Oak Tree. It’s the very vehicle through which all genuine learning takes place, and Joy is the engine that drives it all.

How Fun shows up in action - Every day

🎨 Getting messy with art & craft

Paint on hands, glue everywhere and clay on noses β€” this is what joyful learning looks like. We celebrate mess because it means children are completely engaged.

🌱 Paddock to Plate Garden

Children take part in our β€˜Paddock to Plate’ garden, where they grow their own vegetables, connecting with nature while learning about healthy eating and sustainability.

🌳 Outdoor discovery

Children explore the outdoors, engage in physical play and team games. This helps them build stronger bonds, creative minds, and resilience, all while enjoying the fresh air and natural surroundings.

⚽ Soccer Joeys Fitness Program

Children participate in the Soccer Joeys Fitness program, developing their fitness, coordination, and teamwork through fun and active sessions.

Learning should be fun! Curious minds help us develop our curriculum. Your child's interests are our interests. At Oak Tree, our children learn through play, craft, singing, dancing and getting messy!
