Early learning Centre for Macquarie Park Families, Minutes from the Business Park

Welcome, Macquarie Park families

If you've been searching for childcare in Macquarie Park, you'll know most options sit inside busy commercial towers. Oak Tree Early Learning Centre offers something different: a warm, home-like boutique centre in leafy West Pymble, bordering Lane Cove National Park, just 7–10 minutes from the Macquarie Park business district, Macquarie University and Macquarie Centre.

Many of our families travel from Macquarie Park, North Ryde, Marsfield and surrounding suburbs every day, a short drive across De Burghs Bridge for an early learning experience the big corporate chains simply can't match.

Meet Our Wonderful Centre Manager

Carla
Centre Manager, Oak Tree Early Learning Centre, West Pymbple

Carla is the Centre Manager at Oak Tree ELC West Pymble, where she leads with a strong commitment to children’s rights, wellbeing, and early learning. She believes the first five years of life are the most formative, laying the foundation for a child’s future development, confidence, and sense of self.

Carla is passionate about protecting and promoting every child’s right to play, recognising play as a vital part of learning, growth, and discovery. She is dedicated to creating an environment where children feel safe, capable, and empowered to explore their interests, build relationships, and develop essential life skills through meaningful, play-based and intentional experiences.

Carla is passionate about supporting and empowering educators. She believes that when educators feel confident, respected, and inspired, this is reflected in the quality of care and education they provide. She works closely alongside her team to build a positive, collaborative culture that values open communication, continuous learning, and professional growth. She values strong, open partnerships with families and works collaboratively to ensure every child is supported to thrive.

At the heart of Carla’s philosophy is a deep respect for childhood, creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children are not rushed, but instead given the time, space, and support to learn, grow, and simply be children.
