Welcome To Oak-tree Early Learning Centre - Trusted Child Care for Pymble Families

If you're searching for child care in Pymble, Oak Tree Early Learning Centre is just minutes from your doorstep. Located at 67 Yanko Road in West Pymble, our boutique centre is an easy 5-minute drive from Pymble station, Grandview Lane shops and the Pacific Highway, perfectly placed for morning drop-offs on your commute to the city or Macquarie Park.

As a small, family-owned and operated childcare centre, we do things differently from the large corporate chains. Every child at Oak Tree is genuinely known by name, by personality, by what makes them light up. Our qualified educators deliver a play-based curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), supporting your child from their very first day of care through to their first day of school.

Pymble parents choose Oak Tree because we combine the warmth of a home-like environment with the structure of high-quality early education: two large outdoor play areas, a veggie garden, specialist sport, music and yoga classes, and five fresh meals cooked on-site every day.

Meet Our Wonderful Centre Manager

Carla
Centre Manager, Oak Tree Early Learning Centre, West Pymbple

Carla is the Centre Manager at Oak Tree ELC West Pymble, where she leads with a strong commitment to children’s rights, wellbeing, and early learning. She believes the first five years of life are the most formative, laying the foundation for a child’s future development, confidence, and sense of self.

Carla is passionate about protecting and promoting every child’s right to play, recognising play as a vital part of learning, growth, and discovery. She is dedicated to creating an environment where children feel safe, capable, and empowered to explore their interests, build relationships, and develop essential life skills through meaningful, play-based and intentional experiences.

Carla is passionate about supporting and empowering educators. She believes that when educators feel confident, respected, and inspired, this is reflected in the quality of care and education they provide. She works closely alongside her team to build a positive, collaborative culture that values open communication, continuous learning, and professional growth. She values strong, open partnerships with families and works collaboratively to ensure every child is supported to thrive.

At the heart of Carla’s philosophy is a deep respect for childhood, creating a nurturing, engaging environment where children are not rushed, but instead given the time, space, and support to learn, grow, and simply be children.
